About Durham College:

Durham College is a well-known public college in Canada. The college, founded in 1967, has 13,600 students, including 2,000 international students from 60 nations. Durham College now has roughly 180 Indian students pursuing higher education. International students are invited to pursue approximately 140 full-time programmes and 8 degree courses at the college.

Provide any One of the following:

1. All India Senior School Certificate awarded by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
2. Indian School Certificate awarded by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
3. Year 10 and 12 State Board Exams
4. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)/Intermediary Certificate/Statement of Marks

Scanned original copy along with notarized English-translated copies of university degree and transcripts. Applicants must have been placed in first or second division to qualify. Gaps of more than 5 years will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • 12th: Minimum 55%
  • Academic IELTS: 6.0 overall, no sub-score below 6.0 (For SDS)
  • IBT TOEFL: 80, with minimum section scores of 20
  • Pearson PTE: 53 overall with no section below 49
  • Duolingo: 105 (score card verification required)
  • PTE(Academic): Overall 53 with no modules less than 49


    • Academic IELTS requirement revised to 6.0 overall with no sub-score below 5.5, except for practical nursing.

  • Minimum 60% in UG degree for PG admission.


    • >Exception Programs (Practical Nursing and Communicative Disorders Assistant):

  • Academic IELTS: 7.0, with no band less than 6.5
  • TOEFL: 94, with minimum section scores of 23
  • PTE Academic: Not Applicable


    • Postgraduate Program Admission Criteria:

  • Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall, no sub-score below 6.0
  • IBT TOEFL: 88, with minimum section scores of 22
  • Pearson PTE: 60 with no section below 57

    Important Note-Durham College does not accept more than a 5 years academic gap. Complete set of documents required for application processing, Durham College will not assess the profile until a complete set of documents are provided. All semester mark sheets necessary for the application process.

    Maths Requirement for Business Courses:

    Grade 10 maths (Aggregate of 50%) can be considered if the applicant doesn't have maths in grade 12th, but must be from a Commerce background. Not applicable for Humanities background.

    Diploma in Business (Accounting) requires a maths subject in grade 12th.
